These are the must-have denim trends for spring
Maybe it’s the literal warmer weather (we can almost taste it here in New Jersey!), but spring trends always feel like a breath of fresh air. And though some jeans never go out of style—we all have our go-to bootcut, skinny and flared-leg pairs in our closets—spring and summer are the perfect seasons to have a little fun with denim.
Here are the three denim trends you’ll be seeing everywhere over the next few months (and that we’ve been spotting on the runways), plus how to get the looks at Garmany.
Patchwork and Embroidery
Who doesn’t love jeans infused with a little femininity? You can rock these jeans in the same silhouette you love, but patchwork or embroidery (think little flowers or fruits) adds a nice touch. Mother has jeans and denim skirts embroidered with florals that scream spring.
Deconstructed Hems
Hem detailing such as fraying adds an unexpected twist to a pair of everyday denim. Bonus: These jeans are typically cropped, so you won’t need to worry about shortening them if you’re on the petite side. We love Rag & Bone’s extensive selection of frayed-hem denim.
Detailed Seams
Seams adorned with satin ribbons or tuxedo stripes add a touch of whimsy to tried and true denim. Try a tuxedo stripe pair from Veronica Beard that you won’t want to take off.
