We all know we’re glued to our smartphones—and unfortunately, that’s no different even when we’re behind the wheel.

The drive safety app Drivemode looked at driving data from January 2018-April 2019 from the driving habits of 2.7 million U.S. drivers who use Android phones, according to Mashable. And the results were kind of upsetting, to be honest, as the study found that Americans use their phones for about an hour while in the car on average.

There is one caveat here—only Android users who downloaded the Drivemode app were taken into account. Still, these results can undeniably represent the greater population and should make us all more aware of our screen time usage while driving (or otherwise). Keep those eyes on the road, people!

Here’s how that hour of phone usage broke down, according to Drivemode:

• 44 minutes of listening to music on phone
• 8 minutes of talking
• 9 seconds of sending and listening to voicemail
• 1 text message sent, 5 received (at least it’s not the other way around!)
