How To Rock Corduroy
Like leopard print for women, corduroy is having a major fashion moment for men this season. The warm, stylish fabric has been seen on the runways in trousers, coats, blazers and shirt jackets, and on some of Hollywood’s most stylish men like Ryan Gosling. So, how can you make the look your own? Garmany has plenty of corduroy options to choose from for fall and winter.
Brunello Cucinelli, for one, is big on the trend. The Italian brand is known for its cashmere, but try a Brunello Cucinelli blazer, shirt jacket or coat in corduroy that you’ll find to be just as soft and as perfectly tailored as their sweaters. Peter Millar, Zanella and Canali each offer corduroy pants in various fits and colors that go with anything in your wardrobe—button-downs, puffer vests, v-neck sweaters, etc—and can be worn at work or on weekends. Finally, throw a camel cord suede jacket from Eidos atop the rest of your look to keep warm and look great.
But pro tip: don’t wear head-to-toe corduroy. You don’t want too much of a good thing!
