Prada, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Max Mara, Derek Lam, Jill Sander. What do all these labels have in common? Red is prominently featured in their fall 2017 women’s collections.
And that’s just to name a few. Red was all over the runways for this season, and for good reason. First off, research shows that women who wear red are rated more attractive by males. And red is a power color and hence an instant confidence booster for the wearer. Better yet, the hue flatters every skin tone, and there are countless ways to wear it. Besides the obvious classic pairings of red with white, black, navy and khaki, red also looks great with orange, charcoal, cerulean, lavender, forest green, plum, leopard and even more red. She’s our red-to-toe inspiration, but if all-red is a little too hot for you to handle, try incorporating more of the hue into your wardrobe by donning a red blouse or trousers.
