Don’t Miss Our Fall Runway Show and Luncheon
Feel good about giving back while enjoying some great food and fashion by attending Garmany’s luncheon on October 12 benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Guests will be treated to a delicious lunch by Over Easy Kitchen and a runway show featuring fall fashions by Veronica Beard.
The sportswear brand, created by sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard in 2010, is known for its signature Dickey jacket, which lets you add a lapel and collar insert to create a warm, layered look without the added bulk of another true layer underneath. The concept was an instant hit, and now the line includes day dresses, trousers, blouses, gowns and more, all striking the balance between classic and cool. “We’d always talked about the concept of the uniform, pieces that were forever favorites in the wardrobe,” Swanson Beard explained to Harper’s Bazaar about their vision for the line. “Amazing, chic, iconic classics with a cool twist.”
Garmany has a long history of helping charities make a difference in people’s lives. “This is the first time we are partnering with St. Jude’s,” says Gina Dente, women’s manager at Garmany. “It’s such a worthy cause. I don’t know many families that haven’t been affected by cancer, mine included. And it’s an honor to work for a company like Garmany that loves to give back.”
The luncheon will run from 11:30 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12 at Garmany, and tickets are $50. RSVP by Oct. 5 to 732-576-8500 or susan.belfer@garmany.com.
