Sartorio Napoli at Garmany
Founded 2009 · Naples, Italy
Kiton Craftsmanship, Contemporary Spirit
Sartorio Napoli was born inside the house that Ciro Paone built. A distinguished member of the Kiton family, Sartorio was founded in 2009 in Naples and is led today by Antonio Paone — Ciro's nephew and President of Kiton USA. Where mainline Kiton represents the pinnacle of Neapolitan tailoring at its most traditional, Sartorio channels the same heritage into a more contemporary silhouette — slimmer cuts, modern proportions, and a wardrobe designed for the man who moves between boardroom and city with equal ease.
The craftsmanship is unmistakably Kiton-family. Seventy artisans work in Sartorio's Naples atelier, hand-finishing every garment with the techniques that have defined Neapolitan tailoring for 700 years. Fabrics come from the Carlo Barbera mill in Biella — the same mill Kiton owns — producing superfine 15- to 16-micron wools alongside cashmere, silk, and linen. The signature spalla camicia shoulder, minimal padding, and lightweight unstructured construction create a jacket that drapes naturally on the body rather than imposing a rigid silhouette. This is tailoring that moves with you — the Neapolitan way.
700 Years of Tradition
The Neapolitan Difference
Naples invented a different kind of suit. Where Savile Row builds structure, Naples builds softness. Every Sartorio garment embodies these centuries-old techniques.
Spalla Camicia
The "shirt shoulder" — the hallmark of Neapolitan tailoring. A wider sleeve is sewn into a smaller armhole by hand, creating controlled ripples at the sleevehead. The result: a soft, natural shoulder that drapes like a shirt rather than a structured jacket. It cannot be done by machine.
Unstructured Construction
Minimal shoulder padding. Minimal canvas. Minimal lining. The jacket is lighter, more flexible, and conforms to the wearer's natural frame rather than imposing a shape. Born from Naples' Mediterranean climate, perfected over centuries.
Hand Finishing
Buttonholes, lapels, sleeve attachment, and seaming — all finished by hand. Seventy artisans in the Naples atelier, working with techniques passed down through generations. The signature "imperfection as perfection" of handwork.
Carlo Barbera Fabrics
Sartorio's fabrics come from the same Kiton-owned mill in Biella that supplies the parent house — 15- to 16-micron superfine wools, cashmere, silk, and linen. The quality of cloth is where every great garment begins.
