Neapolitan Luxury Tailoring
Kiton at Garmany
Founded 1968 · Naples, Italy
The Best of the Best, Plus One
Kiton's motto — "il meglio del meglio più uno" — captures everything about the house that Ciro Paone built. Founded in 1968 in Arzano, on the outskirts of Naples, Kiton represents the absolute pinnacle of ready-to-wear tailoring. Each suit requires over 25 hours of handwork, more than 1,500 individual steps, and approximately 2,000 hand-stitches — crafted by over 350 artisans in a tradition that the Paone family has stewarded for five generations.
What makes Kiton singular is not just the craft but the refusal to compromise. Machines are restricted to sewing only the longest straight seams in a jacket. Every collar, every shoulder, every buttonhole with its 100+ hand-embroidered stitches is shaped entirely by hand. Mastering the art of setting a Kiton shoulder requires eight to ten years of practice. The house produces only about 100 pieces per day and approximately 20,000 suits per year — a deliberate restraint that ensures every garment meets the standard its name demands.
At Garmany
The Collection
Suits & Sport Coats
The heart of Kiton — from structured business suits to the signature unstructured Neapolitan shoulder jacket. Fabrics range from ultra-fine 13-micron wool to cashmere, silk blends, and rare vicuña. Each piece undergoes over 1,500 steps of construction.
Dress Shirts & Ties
Kiton shirts in the finest Egyptian cotton and linen, with meticulous finishing details. Natural silk ties with patterns developed exclusively for the house. The kind of pieces that elevate everything they're paired with.
Outerwear & Casual
Produced at Kiton's dedicated facilities in Parma (outerwear) and Fidenza (knitwear), the casual collection brings the same artisan standard to everyday pieces — polos, knitwear, trousers, and lightweight jackets.
Sartorio Napoli
Also by Kiton — Sartorio Napoli blends traditional Neapolitan tailoring with modern sophistication. Lightweight linen blazers, soft jackets, silk-cotton blends, and versatile trousers. Available at Garmany.
