The Isaia man is like Naples. Passionate, sophisticated, irreverent, eclectic, and elegant — style for him is a matter of instinct. Founded in 1920 when Enrico Isaia opened a fabric shop in Naples, three generations of the Isaia family have built one of Italy's most revered menswear houses. Every garment is still produced exclusively in Casalnuovo di Napoli, where nearly 300 artisans — many second and third generation — practice the Neapolitan tailoring tradition that distinguishes Isaia from every other name in menswear.
What sets Isaia apart is the construction. The signature spalla camicia — the shirt shoulder — creates an unpadded, natural silhouette with the sleeve sewn in with subtle pleats for extraordinary comfort and movement. High armholes, hand-rolled lapels, quarter-lined jackets, boat-shaped barchetta pockets, and buttonholes that take up to 45 minutes each by hand. Every jacket carries a small red coral — the Neapolitan symbol of good fortune — sewn inside as both heritage marker and literal good-luck charm.
